Updated: Feb 25

By Chloe Quinn

Feeling Anxious? “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7

Feeling Lonely?  “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:20

Feeling Happy? “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.” Philippians 4:4-5

Feeling Sad or Tired? “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

Matthew 11:28

Feeling Confused? “For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.” 1 Corinthians 14:33

Feeling Angry? “Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and give no opportunity to the devil.” Ephesians 4:26-27

Feeling Discouraged? Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9

Feeling Fearful? “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.” Psalm 56:3

Feeling Overwhelmed? “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.” Isaiah 43:2

No matter what you are feeling or going through, remember that God is always with you; you are never alone. Trials and hardships are a part of life, but God’s love for you is greater than any circumstance. Feelings can be deceiving and may lead us down the wrong path. Instead of relying on our emotions, let us lean on Jesus, Who will guide us every step

of the way.
